Opening round pairings announced for Sr LPGA Championship

The opening round of the 4th Senior LPGA Championship is set for Friday, August 27 on the Pete Dye Course at French Lick Resort in French Lick, Ind. Players will go off tees 1 and 10 starting at 9:00 a.m. with the final groups teeing off at 11:12 a.m.

Past champions Trish Johnson (10:28 a.m., Tee 1) and Laura Davies (10:50 a.m., Tee 1), both of England, headline the field along with American Juli Inkster (10:39 a.m., Tee 1), a 31-time LPGA Tour champion with seven major championship titles seeking her first senior women’s major after finishing runner-up twice.

After 36 holes, a cut will be made to the top-45 players and ties for the final round on Sunday, August 29. GolfChannel.com will stream Sunday’s round from 2-5 p.m. ET.
