Pairings, tee times announced for Legends Classic opening round

(August 11, 2022 – Prior Lake, Minnesota) – The opening round of the Land O’Lakes Legends Classic presented by The Meadows at Mystic late is set for Saturday, August 13 and will feature 40 Legends of the LPGA and four area senior women’s amateurs starting at 9:00 a.m.

The first two tee times include a local qualifier in each pairing. Ashli Bunch of Morristown, Tennessee won today’s qualifier with a score of 73 and will hit the first tee shot of this weekend’s tournament. Bunch is paired with Jean Bartholomew of Garden City, N.Y. Slated for 9:10 a.m. is Minnesota’s own Angie Ause of St. Paul who will be joined on the first tee by the second qualifier, Tracy Hanson of Coeur d’Alene, Id.

LPGA and World Golf Hall of Fame member Nancy Lopez is set to play her first 18 with Rosie Jones starting on Hole #1 at 12:10 p.m. Amy Alcott, also a Hall of Fame member, will start her round at 12:00 p.m. with Wendy Ward. Tournament co-owner and 2-time LPGA Tour winner Michele Redman is set to tee off with Laura Diaz at 12:20 p.m.

Defending champion Juli Inkster is featured in the final pairing of the day alongside Sweden’s Liselotte Neumann, a three-time winner on the Legends of the LPGA with 13 wins in the LPGA Tour. Inkster and Neumann will tee off on Hole #1 at 12:30 p.m.
