Kim Williams started playing golf at age 16 and qualified for the LPGA Tour in 1986 on her first attempt.  She credits her father Doug Williams, Dave King and Bill Straughsbaugh as the individuals most influencing her career. Kim played for twenty-two years full time on the LPGA Tour, and competed all around the world including multiple British Opens and various other championships.  In 2006, she led the LPGA Tour in sand saves. Kim’s career Low Round score was 63: 2004 Kingsmill Championship and 1994 Rail Classic. In 1986, Kim was a member of the U.S. Curtis Cup Team and was low amateur in the Nabisco Dinah Shore.  She was the runner up in the 1984 U.S. Amateur. Kim had victories at the 1984 and 1985 Canadian Amateur Championship, the 1985 and 1986 Southern Amateur Championship, the 1985 Doherty Challenge Cup, and the 1985 Eastern Amateur. Her hobbies include gardening, hiking, cooking, reading, and watching history and UFO shows.  Today, Kim teaches at The Golf Performance Center at Westhaven Golf Club in Franklin TN when she’s not playing in senior tournaments
