Laura Davies

Credits English professional David Regan as the individual most influencing her career. Awarded the 1994 Golf Writers’ Trophy by the Association of Golf Writers.  Honored by ESPN in 1995 with the ESPY Award for Outstanding Women’s Golf Performer of the Year.  Was named a Member of the British Empire (M.B.E.) by Queen Elizabeth II in 1988 and a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 2000, one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon a British citizen.  Named Golf Writers Association of America Female Player of the Year in 1994 and 1996.  Recognized during the LPGA’s 50th Anniversary in 2000 as one of the LPGA’s top-50 players and teachers.  Enjoys all sports.
