In her senior year at ASU the team was rated #1 in the nation and Lisa won 3 individuals titles. Lisa won the 1980 Minnesota Women’s Match Play and in 1982 the Minnesota Women’s State Amateur. With Kris Hanson, Lisa won the MN State Best Ball Championship (3 times). Lisa made it to the Semi-Finals in the U.S. Amateur losing to Juli Inkster; who went on to win her 3rd consecutive U.S. Amateur Title. Lisa turned pro right after leaving ASU. She participated in 16 Major Championships. (U.S. Opens and LPGA Championships) She won 5 tournaments on the Futures Tour. Over the years she qualified for 8 US Open’s, once as an amateur and 7 times as a pro. One of the professional appearances was because she finished 12th in the previous year’s Open. Lisa has captured the Minnesota State open four times; 2004, 2006, 2012 and 2014. Lisa now competes on The Legends Tour with the greatest players in women’s golf. It is the Official Senior Tour of the LPGA.
