Trish took up the game at the age of 9 because her Dad and three brothers all played golf. She was bought up on the link of Royal North Devon, the oldest golf club in England. Trish turned pro in 1987 winning 3 events in her first season giving her rookie of the year honors on the Ladies European Tour. She also won Q-School on the LPGA Tour at the end of that season giving her full playing rights on both tours. Trish went on to win 3 times on the LPGA during her 14 years in America and was the first ever European player to win back to back events on the LPGA in 1993. She has won an incredible 20 times on the Ladies European Tour, winning the Order of Merit for the first time in 1990. Trish has also appeared in 8 Solheim Cup teams for Europe, second only to Laura Davies in her amount of appearances on the team. Trish’s latest win came on the Legends LPGA Tour in August 2016 when she defeated Solheim Cup Captain Juli Inkster in a marathon 6 hole playoff to take the Legends Championship.
